I was hanging around in Morgana & Hellraiser in the Ridings Shopping Centre. I don’t go to Primark, mate, I go to Morgana & Hellraiser. And there was a bloke dressed up as a vampire in there.

Emergency Questions
Have you ever seen a ghost?
Oh, I suppose – Funny enough – we were talking about surreal things, weren’t we? It’s a weird thing but on the day – I’m going to sound like I’m bragging now and I’m not – but on the day that I got my – I found out that I’d been awarded an OBE – I was in my kitchen and I looked up and I looked out of the window and I saw my mum, who’d passed away sadly, like, ten years earlier. And I saw my mum as a young woman. Just fleetingly, for a minute, for a second. And so the day that I found out that I’d got my OBE was literally the day I saw a ghost, which was the ghost of my mum, which was absolutely extraordinary. And it was the most lovely feeling for me. It was the most warm, lovely feeling, to see my mum young and happy. Really smiling at me. I felt though, I felt as though she was kind of – I don’t know, maybe it was me thinking, I wish my mum was here. To tell her – you know what I mean? I didn’t know which way ’round it was. And I didn’t tell anybody because all the, I’ll be carted off. I’ll never get my OBE. In some lunatic asylum, you know?
