So, they want him to go to York, right? Oh, is he still here? I did a gig, uh… What year was he found? 2014, 2015? 2012? I did a gig – it was in a hotel. And the idea was the pay was that you got to stay in the hotel. And the audience met in the lobby, and then they went to a different room. And each room had, like, an act. And me and my friend Matt Highton did a thing where we went to Nando’s earlier that day, took the bones from our meal. And we tried to make a skeleton of a man. And then we laid him out in a drawer at this Premiere Inn or whatever. And then, so, you know, we’re doing – The idea was that we just found a skeleton. And the room stank. Because we’d washed the bones in the sink but all of that chicken fat and all that was just clogging up the sink. […]

If Alfie Boe could go into a chrysalis and change into anything he wanted, what do you think Alfie Boe would emerge from the chrysalis as?

I don’t know why, I’m thinking Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don’t know why. It just came into my head. Because Alfie Boe looks after himself. He’s quite fit, but I reckon he’s going, I could be bigger. He looks up to Arnie. You know the film – what’s the Arnie film? […] Pumping Iron, yeah. […] In Pumping Iron, right, I had a personal trainer who went, “If you watch that film, um, what they dont show is that for three quarters of the day he rests.
